Overview
RXIL, also known as Receivables Exchange of India Limited, is a joint venture promoted by SIDBI and NSE. Established on December 3, 2016, it is India’s first TReDS exchange platform. It facilitates financial growth by providing MSMEs access to credit and streamlining their credit cycle.
History
RXIL was established on December 3, 2016. In December 2016, it received approval from RBI for the SIDBI-NSE Joint Venture. In January 2017, it executed India’s first TReDS transaction. In March 2020, it introduced a digital onboarding platform for MSMEs. In September 2021, it crossed a milestone throughput of ₹1,000 crores monthly. In January 2022, it crossed ₹20,000 crores of transaction since inception and onboarded 10,000 MSMEs. In March 2022, it became the 1st TReDS platform to start filing charge with CERSAI and achieved 2X the throughput, reaching ₹13,400+ crores from ₹6,500 crores.
