Rokon

Rokon is a manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles, specifically all-wheel-drive motorcycles. The company states it is the world's original and longest producing manufacturer of all wheel drive motorcycles, with a history spanning over 50 years. Their product lineup includes the Trail-Breaker, Ranger, Mototractor, Fire-Ranger, and Scout, designed for various uses such as recreation, hunting, and search and rescue.

Rokon's history traces back to 1958 when inventor Charles Fehn designed and produced the first all-wheel-drive motorcycle, dubbed Trailmaker. In 1960, Nethercutt Industries purchased Fehn's designs and rebranded it as Trail-Breaker, with production beginning in Sylmar, California. In 1963, Orla Larsen, the most successful dealer, took control and moved production to Wilmington, Vermont. In 1966, Rokon was sold and moved to Keene, New Hampshire. In 1971, Rokon debuted the RT 140 with rear-wheel drive only. In 1974, the Mark IV Trail-Breaker was introduced with a 3-speed plunger transmission.
