Primavera Systems

Primavera Systems, Inc. was a privately held software company founded in Pennsylvania on May 1, 1983, by Joel Koppelman, Les Seskin, and Dick Faris. The company specialized in software for organizations whose work depended on coordinating complex, capital-intensive, or otherwise project-based activities. Aconex subsequently joined Oracle's construction and engineering portfolio, adding project controls, collaboration, document management, and building information modeling capabilities. As a result, Primavera Systems is best understood today as an acquired software company whose technology and brand lineage continue within Oracle's construction, engineering, project management, and enterprise portfolio products rather than as an independent operating business.
