My Sisters Closet

My Sister's Closet is a fashion consignment store that offers designer clothing, handbags, jewelry, and more. It was founded in 1991 by sisters Jenny and Ann in Phoenix, Arizona. The store aims to provide a boutique-like experience, turning the 'three d's' (dark, dirty, dingy) into the 'three c's' (cute, clean, current). It has expanded to include men's consignment (Well Suited) and home consignment (My Sister's Attic).

My Sister's Closet was founded in 1991 by sisters Jenny and Ann in Phoenix, Arizona. The founders wanted to offer consigners a level of service and convenience that other mom and pop resale stores did not, such as no appointment needed for consigning and immediate payment after an item sold. They aimed to make the store look like a new boutique, turning the 'three d's' (dark, dirty, dingy) into the 'three c's' (cute, clean, current). The store was so small at its original location in Town & Country shopping center that they considered naming it 'My Baby Sister's Closet.' By 1992, they had rented a second space. They later expanded to Scottsdale and Chandler, and opened My Sister's Attic in 1999 for home consignment and Well Suited in 2001 for men's apparel. In 2011, they opened a My Sister's Closet in San Diego, California.
