History
Monster was established in 2001. The company produces, develops and sells content within drama, entertainment, documentary and factual, reality, children's content, feature films and is also an award-winning podcast producer. Monster is behind major documentary series such as Rikets Sikkerhet (NRK), Estonia – funnet som endrer alt (Discovery), Gåten Orderud (NRK), Mr Good? Gåten Eirik Jensen (Netflix) and Folkets Konge (NRK). It has developed and produced entertainment concepts Verdens beste venner, Stjernekamp and 10 på topp (NRK), and produces well-known TV formats such as Forræder (TV 2), A-laget (NRK), Jakten på kjærligheten (TV 2) and Maskorama (NRK). It is behind major drama productions such as Exit (NRK), PØRNI (Netflix), Furia (Viaplay) and Unge Lovende (NRK). Monster is owned by Fremantle, and is today run by CEO Agnete Thuland. Its offices are located at Sannergata 2 on Grünerløkka in Oslo.
