MET Labs

MET Labs, established in 1959 as MET Laboratories, Inc., is a provider of product safety testing and certification for electrical products. In 1989, it broke the UL monopoly for product safety testing and certification in the United States. In 2018, MET joined the Eurofins Scientific network. It offers services including product safety certification, EMC testing, wireless and RF approvals, environmental simulation, global market access, and on-site field evaluations.
