Marble Beers, also known as Marble Brewery, has been brewing forward-thinking and genre-defining beer in Manchester, UK since 1997. The brewery started in the back room of a Victorian pub in Ancoats and moved to its current site in Salford in 2019. It produces a broad range of beers including classics like Manchester Bitter, Lagonda, and Pint, as well as new Hop Forward range, collaborations, and annual releases.
History
Marble Brewery has been brewing in Manchester, UK since 1997. Initially, beers were brewed in the back of The Marble Arch Inn on a 4.5 barrel kit installed by Brendan Dobbin. In 2009, the brewery moved to Williamson Street to increase capacity to 12 barrels. In 2019, it moved to its current site in Salford, installing a 25hL Gravity System brewhouse. The brewery is led by Head Brewer Joe Ince.
