History
Kuhn Edelstahl was founded on November 1, 1960, by Klaus Kuhn as a turning shop in Monheim. In 1964/65, the company built its first centrifugal casting machine and moved to Radevormwald. Over the years, it expanded its capabilities, including the acquisition of a computer in 1970, a deep hole drilling machine in 1973, and CNC machines in the 1980s. In 2000, a joint venture Rova & Kuhn Technology Inc. was founded in Taiwan, which was renamed Kuhn Special Steel Taiwan in 2010. In 2007, the company invested over 8 million EUR in new halls and machines for large components.
