Kaplan Pathways

Kaplan Pathways (also referred to as Kaplan International Pathways) helps international students gain entry to degrees at partner universities in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand. It offers degree preparation courses (pathway courses) to meet academic and English entry requirements, degree admission support, and career skills opportunities. It works with university partners, education agents and sponsors, and is part of Kaplan, which was founded in 1938 by Stanley Kaplan.

Kaplan was founded in 1938 by educational pioneer Stanley Kaplan, who was born in New York to immigrant parents and was rejected from medical school in the city due to ethnic quotas in place at the time; spurred on by this unfairness, Stanley started tutoring students. Kaplan Pathways operates as part of Kaplan, describing 80+ years of Kaplan helping students achieve their dreams. In 2023, 12,000+ students were enrolled through Kaplan Pathways, representing 150+ nationalities, and its employees represented 93 nationalities. It works with 25 university partners worldwide plus many more via other Kaplan companies, and has a regional office or presence in 25+ countries.
