Its corporate office is in Research Triangle Park, NC, and it has five fully equipped service centers in Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Philadelphia, PA, Grand Rapids, MI, and San Francisco, CA.
History
InstroTek began as a dream in a 20 x 20 foot garage. Since 1997, InstroTek has been setting new standards for testing and quality control around the world. The company invented the world's first portable nuclear gauge calibration device, the world's first automatic equipment for accurate density measurements of coarse and absorptive asphalt samples, the first rapid vacuum drying apparatus, the first product for determination of asphalt anti-stripping agent, and the first realistic moisture conditioning device and procedure. InstroTek scientists and engineers hold numerous patents and are continually involved in product related research and development.
