Inner Circle RTD is a ready-to-drink variant of Inner Circle Rum. The brand has a history dating back to the Colonial Sugar Refining Company (CSR), which produced Inner Circle Rum from 1855 to 1986. After being retired and changing ownership, the trademark was purchased by Vok Beverages in 2012, and the rum is now produced at Beenleigh Artisan Distillery using traditional pot stills.
History
Inner Circle Rum was once exclusively available to the board of directors of Australia's Colonial Sugar Refining Company (CSR) and a few prized clients. CSR produced Inner Circle Rum from 1855 to 1986. In 1986, CSR sold the brand, and Inner Circle Rum was effectively retired, changing ownership several times over the next 25 years. In 2012, Vok Beverages purchased the trademark, making Inner Circle Rum Australian-owned and produced again. It is now produced at the Beenleigh Artisan Distillery using traditional Pot Stills.
