History
Hermes Interactive was the original name of the studio now known as Rhombico Games. According to the studio's official story, it started as a one-man hobby project by founder Federico Casares in 2016, with the purpose of learning game development using Unity Engine. At that time, it was called Hermes Interactive and was based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The first project was a trading game for PC set in the 18th century, which later became Winds Of Trade, released on Steam in February 2017. The studio later released Automachef in July 2019 with publisher Team17. In late 2025, Rhombico Games decided to wind down operations.
