History
GFOS was founded in 1988 and officially entered in the commercial register as GFOS - Gesellschaft für Fabrik-Organisation und Softwareentwicklung mbH. The entry was made by Burkhard Röhrig, founder of GFOS mbH. Among the first customers were renowned companies such as REWE and Zentis. In 1989, Gunda Cassens joined the company as Head of Strategic Software Development, and Onken joined the customer base. In 1991-1992, X/TIME® was published as a product name and GFOS Systemhaus GmbH was founded. In 1995-1997, X/TIME® was further developed.
