Gateway Group was founded in 1997 by Niraj Gemawat, an engineer by profession, after completing his MBA. The company grew to a team of 100+ professionals, and later Indrajeet Mitra, Niraj's childhood friend, joined to help shape the next phase of growth. Vipin Moharir, a technologist based in the Netherlands, partnered with the company after a meeting on a train ride between Pune and Ahmedabad, accelerating global ambitions.
