EF Hutton was an American securities firm founded in 1904 by Edward Francis Hutton, headquartered in New York. It was one of the largest brokerage firms in the U.S., famous for the slogan 'When E.F. Hutton talks, people listen.' It was acquired by Shearson Lehman in 1987 and the brand eventually disappeared.
