Demcon

Demcon is a group of companies that develops and produces high-quality technological solutions, with a focus on creating shared value and positive social impact. Founded in 1993 by Dennis Schipper and Peter Rutgers, it has grown to include 26 companies across 14 locations in 5 countries, employing 1200 people.

Demcon was founded in 1993 by Dennis Schipper and Peter Rutgers, who started the mechatronics design firm in a small room at the University of Twente in Enschede, the Netherlands. The company grew, moving to Hengelo and later to Oldenzaal in 2004. In 1998, ASML became a customer for the design and production of qualification tools for components of their lithography machines.
