History
CONAM was founded in 1975 by Daniel J. Epstein as a small multifamily property management provider. In 1977, it constructed its first apartment community, Indian Hills, a 200-unit development in Milpitas, California. In 1981, CONAM and E.F. Hutton launched the first RJ Partnerships, raising $260 million for 4,300 units. In 1985, it constructed Country Hills Tennis Club, a 676-unit development in El Cajon, California. In 1986, it constructed Sea Point Condominiums, a 336-unit development in Carlsbad, California. In 1989, CONAM expanded into Southern Nevada with an Income Properties offering with Bishops Estate Trust.
