Arcata and Mad River Railroad

The Arcata and Mad River Railroad was a short-line railroad operating in California, United States, during the mid-19th century, primarily serving timber transport, connecting the Arcata area with logging regions along the Mad River. The railroad ceased operations in the mid-20th century, and parts of the route have been converted into recreational trails.
