China State Shipbuilding Corporation Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was founded in 1898 and is a directly administered second-tier unit of China State Shipbuilding Corporation. With shipbuilding as its core, it coordinates ship repair, marine engineering, special vessels and special equipment businesses. It is described as a large backbone shipbuilding and ship-repair enterprise under CSSC, a "chain leader" enterprise of Shandong Province's marine engineering equipment industrial chain, and a "chain leader" enterprise of Qingdao's intelligent equipment industrial chain.
