It operates in the Middle East and North Africa, widely described as one of the region's largest broadcasters.[1][2] Launched in 2016, the company is a result of the merger of Egyptian Media Group and D Media.[3] UMS owns more than 40 leading companies in various media fields, including visual, audio, print, and electronic media, drama production, advertising, direct and indirect advertising services, and sports rights and marketing.[4][5]
