Syed Babar Ali OBE (born 30 June 1926) is a Pakistani businessman, philanthropist and former caretaker Finance Minister of Pakistan.
He was among the 100 richest people in Pakistan in 2020.
He is the founder of Packages Limited, Milkpak Limited (now owned by Nestlé Pakistan) and Lahore University of Management Sciences.[2][3] Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering is named after him.
