Hackett Limited is a British multi-channel retailer of clothing for men and boys, with a broad range of apparel and accessories. It was founded in 1983 in London, England. As of June 2019, the company had 160 stores globally, with its flagship store at 14 Savile Row in London.[1][2] It is owned by both Lebanese holding company M1 Group and American L Capital Asia (Part of L Catterton)
History
Hackett was founded in 1983 by Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings from a stall on London's Portobello Road.[3] The first shop, on the "wrong end" of King's Road, in London's Chelsea district, was selling only used clothes.[4]
