FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. (FTMC) ,[1] previously named Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. (TFTM), is an automobile manufacturing company based in Xiqing District, Tianjin, China.[2] It is a manufacturing and supervising affiliate of the joint venture between FAW Group and Toyota Motor Company, and commonly known as FAW Toyota .[3]
Created in 2003,[4] it is an equally owned joint venture with Toyota. As of 2007, it has one passenger vehicle production base in the Xiqing District of Tianjin[5] and two in the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone
