Candriam is a global multi-specialist asset management firm headquartered in Luxembourg, founded in 1996. Since 2014, it has been a subsidiary of New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM). In May 2025, Belgian bank Belfius announced its intention to acquire a minority stake in Candriam, pending customary closing conditions.[1] The transaction is expected to complete by the end of 2025.
The company offers investment solutions across fixed income, equities, absolute return, multi-asset, and private markets. As of December 2024, Candriam managed approximately €155 billion in assets and employed over 600 professionals. It operates 11 offices globally, with investment management centers in Brussels, Luxembourg, Paris, and London.[2]
